The Anchorage
Sunshine and shade, combined with our new spa and children’s playrooms, for us, make this an ideal spot for all seasons and ages. Our facilities are continually upgraded and the completion of an “infinity” pool has been acclaimed for its contemporary elegance and harmony with the surroundings. Three beaches border The Anchorage; our sheltered bay is best enjoyed as a quiet place in which to unwind. In season there is a charming restaurant, bar and beach bar on a shady terrace by the sea as well as a range of beach restaurants only a short walk away. The Anchorage is home to a cosmopolitan community, which prides itself on maintaining the highest of standards and is always seeking ways to improve. That’s why we come back time and time again.

About the Anchorage
On a rocky coastline overlooking the sea, the beauty of The Anchorage is due to the way the architectural design complements the landscape. Chosen as a high-society destination during Mallorca’s golden age, The Anchorage was conceived in the pale colors of the façades of the Mediterranean buildings. François Spoerry, celebrated French architect for the creation of Port Grimaud near Saint Tropez, was asked to join forces with the Australian landscape architect Andrew Pfeiffer.
Together, they designed an ambitious residential complex, to provide suitably refined accommodation and spectacular gardens for the international jet set and their families. The Anchorage was inaugurated on September 6th 1985 and today, almost thirty years later, the essential qualities of this growing garden and the respect of the original façades and colors have stood the test of time, maintaining intact its village charm.
